What you’ll be doing:
Ensure the safe operation of machinery at all times
Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and practices
Work collaboratively as part of the production team to meet output targets
Follow quality management systems to ensure product standards are met
Provide a reliable and efficient service in line with company policies
Be flexible to support other machines or areas when needed
Work in line with lean manufacturing principles and quality standards
Who we’re looking for:
Good communication skills and attention to detail
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
IT literate, happy working with Microsoft packages
Confident working to standard operating procedures with minimal supervision
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and measure accurately
Capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
A good understanding of quality standards and health & safety in a production setting
Experience working to production targets and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment
