Salary: £50,000 - £55,000, per year DOE
As a SAP Developer for Magnet, you’ll play an important part in keeping our SAP systems running smoothly and helping them evolve for the future. You’ll be working across our SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms, building and improving solutions that support the day-to-day running of the business. From creating reports and integrations to enhancing existing functionality, your work will make a real difference to how our teams operate.

What you’ll be doing:
Design, build and support ABAP developments across a highly customised SAP ECC and CRM environment, with future plans aligned to an S/4HANA roadmap
Deliver enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and integrations
Investigate and resolve incidents and defects across the SAP landscape
Work with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to technical design discussions and translate functional requirements into practical ABAP solutions
Follow development standards and contribute to code quality and consistency
Support ongoing system improvements and small change delivery
Who we’re looking for:
Essential:
Proven experience as an ABAP developer
Ability to debug, analyse and resolve issues across standard and custom SAP code
Able to take ownership of ABAP developments from technical design through to delivery, working within an existing SAP landscape supporting live business processes
Hands-on experience with working on ECC & SAP S/4 HANA
Experience working with interfaces and integrations between SAP and external systems
Experience with SAP development best practices and coding standards.
An understanding of SAP architecture, data modelling, and integration methods
Proficiency in SAP technologies, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, and SAP Fiori.
Familiarity with SAP security and compliance standards
Understanding of modern delivery practices and DevOps concepts, including version control, structured releases, and deployment processes
Desirable:
Experience working with other SAP development tools and languages, such as SAPUI5, and SAP Cloud Platform is preferred
Familiarity with the SAP Business Technology Platform
Knowledge of modern development practices (e.g. CI/CD, test automation) and how these can be applied to enhance SAP development processes
Exposure to SAP CRM / SAP CX environments
